Our verdict
NordPass is a strong research-led recommendation for small businesses that want a password manager that is easy to understand, supports secure sharing and gives administrators useful visibility without forcing every buyer into an enterprise-style deployment. Its Teams plan is especially relevant to small groups; growing organisations should compare Business and Enterprise carefully because several advanced controls move up the tiers.
What stands out
- Secure password generation and sharing
- Offline credential access
- User activity monitoring and organisation-wide security settings
- MFA on Teams
- Google Workspace SSO on Teams
- Business adds password health and breach monitoring
Trade-offs
- Teams is a fixed 10-user bundle
- Some advanced SSO/provisioning options require Enterprise
- Pricing promotions and renewal costs can change
- Very small teams should compare total bundle cost with per-seat rivals
NordPass Teams vs Business vs Enterprise
Teams is designed for small teams and is currently sold as a 10-user bundle. It includes core password management, secure sharing, offline access, activity monitoring, security settings, MFA and Google Workspace SSO.
Business starts from five users and adds group-based and folder-based credential sharing, password-strength monitoring, data-breach monitoring and Vanta compliance integration.
Enterprise adds more advanced centralised control, SSO options including Entra ID, MS ADFS and Okta, automated user access management and integrations such as Microsoft Sentinel and Splunk.
Where NordPass fits best
NordPass makes the most sense when a small business has outgrown individual password habits and needs a central way to share access, apply security settings and see user activity. It is particularly easy to shortlist for a Google Workspace-based small team because Google Workspace SSO is included on Teams under NordPass's current plan information.
Where it may not be the best fit
A two- or three-person business should compare the total price of the 10-user Teams bundle against per-seat competitors. Organisations that need advanced identity-provider integrations, automated provisioning or SIEM integrations should check Enterprise rather than assuming those features sit in the entry plan. And technically minded businesses that specifically want an open-source or self-hosted password-management stack should compare Bitwarden.
Security and encryption
NordPass states that its vault uses XChaCha20 encryption and a zero-knowledge architecture. Those are meaningful design choices, but buyers should still evaluate operational controls: MFA, recovery procedures, device security, employee offboarding and the exact permissions used for shared credentials.
Pricing: compare the real total
NordPass regularly advertises discounts for annual and two-year terms. Lumavryn avoids hard-coding a promotional monthly figure because it can change. Instead, compare the checkout total, VAT/tax treatment, renewal terms, user minimum or bundle size, and which tier contains the admin features you need. NordPass currently offers a 14-day Business trial.
Our research approach
This is a research-based review, not a claim of hands-on deployment testing. Lumavryn checked NordPass's current business plan information, support documentation and feature pages, then compared its positioning with other business password managers. We separate vendor claims from our editorial judgement and avoid treating an affiliate relationship as evidence of product quality.
Bottom line
NordPass earns a 9.0/10 Lumavryn research score as a strong, straightforward business password manager with a sensible path from small-team essentials to more advanced controls. It is particularly compelling for teams that value simplicity and Google Workspace integration. The main buying check is the plan structure: compare the 10-user Teams bundle and the feature gates on Business/Enterprise against your actual headcount and IT needs.
